The image above looks like a scan gone wrong , right? Nope. It’s an intricately carved furniture piece by Ferruccio Laviani. Yeah, we were blown away too.

Donut and the camera
Ran Hwang is best known for her wall sculptures that make use of common objects like buttons and crystals pinned directly onto the wall of the gallery. Using each element like a pixel on a scren, Hwang creates oversized murals.
These colorful little planets are actually photos of epoxy polymer paintings artist Klari Reis made in petri dishes.
She was first inspired 10 years ago, when she was in the hospital for Crohn’s disease and her doctor invited her to view her own cells under a microscope.
